There are a lot of online companies offering to handle your divorce.

When making your choice, be aware that there are some misleading claims as to the nature of the companies handling the work. The vast majority are not solicitors, despite claiming to be 'lawyers' or 'legal experts', and anyone can call themselves a paralegal. This means they are unlikely to have any legal training or indemnity cover.

Be careful of impossible claims of thousands of divorces handled, or a certain percentage of all uk divorces. These are unverifyable and meaningless.

Also, should you want to handle your own divorce ('DIY' Divorces), be wary of companies offering to sell you divorce forms with email support. They are available free of charge from the courts service and are accompanied by easy to follow guidance notes. The Citizens Advice Bureau will give you free support should you need it.
